What are options to sell with Emerald Auction Centre?
We currently offer sales through Multi-Vendor Online Auctions only.

How do I list an assert in the next upcoming online auction?
Visit the Vendor Booking page on the Emerald Auction Centre website, complete all required information, and submit the form. If submitted correctly, you will receive a confirmation email.

Can I set a reserve?
Yes, reserve prices may be set for assets valued over $1,500 including GST. Items valued at $1,500 including GST or less must be sold unreserved.

I have finance owing can I sell my asset? And what happens with the pay out?
Yes, Emerald Auction Centre will request a finance letter with a payout figure. Upon the successful sale, Emerald Auction Centre will process the payout on behalf of the vendor.

Where can I register to bid?
On the Emerald Auction Centre website in the top right-hand corner is the bidder registration tab.  Fill out all the required information a bidder number will be emailed to you.

I haven’t received my bidder number.
After registering you will receive a bidder number to the email address used in your registration. Check you spam/junk folder. If you are still unable to locate your bidder number email, please call the office (07) 4982 4272 between 8am and 4pm Monday to Friday for further help.

I’m having trouble logging in.
Reminder to use your bidder number not your email when logging in.

Can I inspect the lots that are in the auction?
Yes. Emerald Auction Centre encourage the inspection of all the lots prior to bidding as these are sold as is, where is, without any warranties of any kind.

What are Emerald Auction Centres payment terms?
In accordance with the bidders’ terms and conditions, all invoices must be paid in full within 24 hours after the auction has completed, unless prior notice/approval of finance has been arranged by notifying Emerald Auction Centre either by emailing admin@emeraldauctioncente.com.au or contacting accounts on (07) 4982 4272.

Emerald Auction Centre is able to work with finance companies to assist with the completion of your purchase, where required.

What are the payment options?
Emerald Auction Centre accept- Cash, Bank Cheque or approved Personal or Business Cheque. Electronic Funds transfer Eftpos or credit card. There are no credit card fees. PLEASE NOTE WE DO NOT ACCEPT AMEX/ AMERCIAN EXPRESS.

How long do I have to collect my items?
All items must be collected within 10 business days of auction completion. Uncollected items will incur a storage fee of $10/day (excl. GST) for up to 20 business days. Items not collected within this 20 business days will be deemed abandoned and may be resold or disposed of without further notice.

What the Emerald Auction Centre’s Buyer Premiums?
Buyer’s Premium is exclusive GST and will be added to the knock down price to form the total sale price.
$0-$100,000 Buyer’s premium 10%
$100,001- $300,000 Buyers Premium 8%
$300,001 & Over Buyers Premium 5%

Why does my invoice not have GST on it?
Not all vendors are not registered for GST; therefore, their sale prices will not have a GST component. GST will only be applied to items sold by vendors who are registered for GST.
Each lot is clearly marked as either GST-registered or GST-exempt.

Do you have unloading facilities?
Yes, we have forklifts, cranes, and an unloading ramp available.

Do you have an access for trucks and road trains?
Yes, we have access suitable for both trucks and road trains.

Does Emerald Auction Centre organise freight and delivery?
No, Emerald Auction Centre does not arrange freight and delivery. However, you can visit the Freight and Delivery page on our website for a list of local and national companies that can assist with the freight and delivery of your items.
